  1. SOLVED ! The camera is working perfectly with my original coupler snugly sitting in the power grip and running through the regular USB plug. Just like you suggested. The fact that my X-T1 was powering down the whole time, when directly connected to the dummy battery, must have been because the connection was insecure as I couldn't't close ****** door. All good- thanks again !
  2. Thanks- I just realised the coupler I have (that worked for the X-A10 and X-A5) has s a standard USB plug anyway so wouldn't be PD compliant. Another dead end. Guess I'll make the most of 2 standard batteries which might not be able to cope with extreme long exposures. Thinking about getting an X-T3 which, in theory, can be plugged directly via USB-C to a PD power bank...
  3. Thank so much, I didn't think of that ! I actually bought the power grip the other day and it does have a channel for a decoupler. I'm waiting for a new power bank that will arrive tomorrow as I think the camera needs a USB-C Power Delivery charge. I will update tomorrow- fingers crossed. Thanks again.
  4. Hi, this is my first post. It appears that there isn't an opening on the lid of the battery chamber for a cable to go through on my 'new' X-T1. I have a dummy battery coupler that worked with an X-A5 and X-A10 as they had this opening - the lid could close ! Does anyone know anything about this- is there a way to fix this ? Many thanks in advance _C
