I'm having the same issue now! I just got off the phone with the Fuji repair folks who said it's a mechanical shutter issue and that it probably needs to be replaced. However, I read elsewhere that someone was able to switch it back to electric shutter where it worked. I, too, can't access the menu now, though, and just have that error message. I can get to playback menu but I don't think you can change your shutter type there. Any luck with your issue or any pointers for me with this?
