Recently both my XT3's have frozen when in Movie mode?

This is weird! My black XT3 is locked at 8000fps with aperture at F8 and my Silver XT3 at 80fps at F8. Both when in Movie mode! Shutter speed dial not active on both cameras and with lenses attached or removed no change other than aperture at zero when removed??? This has never happened before! I've not factory reset as yet because of the time consuming hassle to re program again. Photo modes OK, just video has lost the plot! Any ideas of the possible cause? Thanks
