I have been experiencing this issue on the XE-4 since I got it almost 2 years ago. A weird checkerboard pattern appears randomly on some JPGs, but not RAW. There doesn't appear to be rhyme or reason. I can shoot in bursts and only a few of the shots will have the issue so I don't think it's an exposure issue. I have included a sample photo. It doesn't appear to be moire or he purple grid issue,but I can't find anything online about it. Any ideas?
X-E4 with XF 27mm F2.8 kit lens
But it happens with any lens and under various shooting conditions. Is it a sensor issue? I can send exif if needed
