I started having the same problem with the X-T4 over a year ago. And with almost all lenses. And the error when turning on the camera occurs more and more often.
This makes it almost impossible to use the camera in professional work. It turns out that you can't rely on it.
Before this, I had cameras from two other most popular manufacturers, and I never had this problem with them.
Very disappointed!

This is the fourth time my XT4 has failed. It's back to Fujifilm for a repair again now.
I've had repairs in 2022, 2023 (straight back in 2023) and now here in 2024.
I take very good care of my cameras, I'm amazed this keeps happening.

Sometimes, issues like these can be complex and difficult to diagnose, especially if they're intermittent.
