Purchased a preowned X100f recently. First day of using it I noticed in both AF modes (S and C) the camera would lock up with "Focus error" displayed on the LCD. It worked fine in manual focus mode. I took it on a two week trip and it worked well for the most part.
Towards the end of the trip it started showing "Focus error" even in manual focus mode. Now it's completely unusable.
In other posts in this forum, it seems the issue is typically due to an improperly installed filter. But as far as I can tell, there is no filter installed.
Any ideas?
