Hi,
How do I preview the exposure (i.e. an approximation of the final image) on XT3 when working in a non-manual mode?
This can be done in manual mode by setting
"Preview Exp/Wb in Manual Mode" to EXP/WB and
"Natural Live View" to OFF
but this does not affect modes that are not manual, for example, shutter priority mode or when I want to control ISO and shutter speed manually.
A common suggestion that I found online was to set "Preview Exp/Wb in Manual Mode" to ON. However, this option is not available on my camera. The only options under "Preview Exp/Wb in Manual Mode" to EXP/WB" are EXP/WB, WB and Off.
Without this, the images may turn out to be slightly under or over exposed. In shutter priority, it may become difficult to see the effect of a long exposure.
I have been stuck on this for the entire day. Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
