Focus Mode Problems

I am thinking it is a malfunction of some sort, bad switch or contact. I have cleaned all the obvious contacts and set and reset the lenses, and spent time on the possible menu settings that could cause this. I am new to Fujifilm, how is there repair support resources?

yes, does not matter where it is set; M,S or C, no change. Camera focuses with back button, not shutter , but trying to change that also has been a problem.

Having trouble with Focus Mode which is stuck on MF. (Menu - AF/MF - AF Mode= MF) Problem both before and after firmware update, lens is XF 80-16 zoom, I have tried all the various menu adjustments, but no luck. What am I missing?
