  1. I spoke with Fuji who have suggested making changes to the auto sleep modes so that the camera shuts down when not being used. They also suggested pulling out the lcd screen slightly to help with airflow. I am going to try the auto sleep settings but I’m not convinced they are going to help if taking a reasonable number of photos within half an hour. I have ordered an alternative brand to test as a possible change. However I was very impressed with the images I was getting from the camera so I’d like to keep it if I can solve the heat issue. I hope you manage to sort yours too.
  2. I received my new X-S20 yesterday and was very excited to start using it. As I am new to mirrorless and indeed Fuji I decided to keep things simple and leave the camera in auto for my first test. Having used the camera for about 20 mins having taken about 60 photos I was presented with the overheating warning. I am currently awaiting a call from Fuji to confirm if I have a wrong setting somewhere. I am aware that overheating can occur on mirrorless cameras but I was stunned that it should happen after only 20 mins of taking stills
