  1. I've been using the Peak Design clip with both the X-T2 and the X-T5. Works really well - very reliable and holds the camera steady. Just upgraded to the most recent version (more slimline), which is just as good. Solid and well made.
  2. Thanks KimC - I do have the tubes - very grateful for your thoughts here. I'll give them a try. As an aside, what do you use to light the slides ? Do you have a Lightbox ?
  3. I have a number of 35mm slides and negatives that I want to convert to digital. I am keen to try to do this through the X-T5. I have options to use the F1.4 16mm, 18-135mm, f1.4 33mm, f2 90mm or 70-300mm zoom lens, but would appreciate recommendations for an adapter that would fit/work on any of these lenses. Thanks in advance Geoff
  4. Thanks Greybeard ... I'll give that a go
  5. Hello, I have a horrible feeling that I am missing something, but I cannot get the Fuji XApp to allow me to change shutter speed when connected to my X-T5. In all other regards the app works flawlessly, but it seems to be set on an Auto setting which I cannot change (see screenshot). I cannot find a solution via the help files, so thought I would ask the community for help. so my question is “How do I take full control of the camera using the XApp, especially the shutter control” ? I am using the most up to date version of the app and have the latest firmware on the camera. Thanks
  6. I shoot with the XT5 and the 16mm, having brought the lens with me from my previous XT2. The lens is truly excellent - fast and sharp to the edges. The manual focus clutch is a nice touch too (although in fairness, not absolutely necessary). I shoot mostly after-dark and landscape shots and this lens spends more time on the body than any of my others. I don’t think you’d would be disappointed with it
  7. In the software menu (IS mode, from memory), or on the side of an XF lens that has image stabilisation built in
  8. I had similar challenges with turning IS off through the menu system until I appreciated that the IBIS was also controlled through the IS switch on the lens body. Could there be a link here for you ?
