I got it working on September 26th by doing this and all other resets as others describe in this blog. Yesterday it stopped working again. New Fuji app is somehow better but it’s state-machine is a mystery. There is no silver bullet. So today I’ll reset camera’s Bluetooth setting and start over. Maybe it will work for one more month...

Would like to have it as well but for the purpose getting lip sync in video conferences. I guess ,since Fujifilm is using current live view feature and not video mode of the camera you might be out of luck here.

This worked for me: in settings/cam remote I toggled Bluetooth and Local Network. Same problem and since this app is inconsistent already it is hard to know when it works or not.
