thanks for the further responses guys, I've taken all into consideration and am going to view an X-T1 in store tomorrow, hopefully this can help me make a better decision

if you were in my situation harlem what would your choice be?

ok maybe i could have worded it better.... its not that I'm not happy with what is available on the market, more that id like to hear peoples opinions if they were in a similar situation. my motivation is I will soon be starting my first proper position doing photography as a job. I feel like my x-pro1 is slightly outdated and will be even further so with the release of the x-t1's new firmware releasing soon. I realise there will always be something new out or on the horizon, but i currently have the cash available to upgrade if i wished to do so. If you were in my shoes would you stick it out for a new body to be released later in the year and save some more cash in the meantime. or pick up an x-t1 at an ok price now?

Currently running on an X-Pro1, along with an 18mm f2, 35mm f1.4 and 56mm f1.2. Looking to upgrade to a new body at some point this year. only option at the moment is really an x-t1. what would people recommend? upgrade to the x-t1 or wait for a future release later in the year x-t2 / x-pro2?? sorry if a similar question has already been posted, first time post so go easy on me
