Greg7579 got a reaction from frankinfuji in Hey Guys -- Is This a Good Fuji X Forum?
Hi Guys, I'm a travel photographger from San Antonio, Texas and have been shooting at a passionate level since I was 15.  I am 60 now.  I switched from a lifetime with Canon and Nikon (at various stages) to Fuji almost 4 years ago, or the day the XT-1 came out, whenever that was.  I own almost all of the Fuji X lenses except for the Brick (which I admit is a good bag of primes and a fine lens, but I have decided not to like it because it reminds of my many Canon Ls), and I spend some spare time on the DPR Fuji Forum helping newbies and irritating the other pros.
Well, I guess I'm not a pro because I don't charge money for my work.  I only spend money on it.  Lots....

I think I am going to look around this forum a bit and see if I like it.  I honestly didn't know about it.

I don't hide my images and they are free for the taking.  There are a few thousand XT-1 and XT-2 images posted here on my Flickr page using any one of about 12 XF lenses.  You can have a peek if you are bored.  They are organized into Trip Albums.  I travel a lot and shoot.

I have strong opinions founded on decades of experience and a love for the awesome Fuji.  I am not supported by or compensated by Fuji in any way.  Same user name as on the DPR Fuji X Forum.

I don't really like this forum being broken down into each camera type because there is a lot to be leaned from the XT-2 / XP-2 crowd and the reverse is also true.  In fact, the best (and most famous) pro portrait photographer I know uses the XT-10 on travel and borrows lenses from me.

Anyway, I might start posting here.  I don't troll Canon and Nikon forums.  I don't venture over there and tell them why I switched and why they should.   Although it is tempting at times....  So much I could tell them.
