Hello all
I work as a Gaffer and Grip, and general technical problem solver for a company here in the friendly (yet people insist windy) city of Port Elizabeth.
I recently acquired a X-T10 (to upgrade to X-T2 for the video) after my GH2 (yes, those great video cameras that looked like a stills camera) LCD screen died on me.
I was very interested in the Sony a6300 for the video, however the Fujifilm camera's finally had a body setup that works with my analog head, the basics you need for photography are put on dials on the body. The other reason for Fuji is unlike Sony, they are in the country, Sony pulled out three years ago. The Sony's, although great for video, still felt like I'm holding a smartphone in my hands, as oppose to the Fujifilm's where it feels like a camera. Yes, the camera does matter a bit in photography.
Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me Fanjan
