  1. Hi there... I've been taking photos as a amateur since my 12 years of age. I'm 50 now, time really flies. I started with small all plastic rectangular pocketable kodak camera that used 110C film. Many years later I had my first reflex camera, a Minolta X9. It was a semi automatic camera and it was my best learning tool. Forward almost 10 years I sold my Minolta and bought a Canon EOS 50E. A great jump in hardware, I must admit. Lightning speed focus (my first time with a autofocus body) and with eye control. I think I made over 10K of photos with this camera. When digital photography was already at cruise speed I moved to a Nikon D80. A very robust and reliable camera that I used a lot and helped me learn about the world of digital photos. However I started to get fed up of carrying a DSLR, lenses and flash around in a not so small bag, so I started looking to the mirrorless world. I was tempted by Olympus but I wanted to stay with a APS-C sensor and so, two years ago, I bought a second hand Fuji X-E1 in mint condition with it's excellent f/2.8 kit lens. I just loved the definition, clarity and colors of the Fuji right from day one. Since then I bought a hand grip and, more recently, my first Fuji prime, the XF 23mm f/2 WR, though I'm still waiting for better weather to use it more, just took some "test" photos. I'm looking forward to learn and share experiences with you. Cheers ps: please apologize my english, it's not my native language.
