mph got a reaction from SimonF in Back again!
Started my Fuji journey with an X-E1. Moved on to a X-T1, followed by an X-T2 plus 4 lenses.
Diagnosed with cancer - regarded as terminal though could be a year or two. Who knows, I’m 79 anyway so…
Lost my mojo a trifle - for some reason - and decided I wasn’t either very interested or not prepared to lug around the kit. Sold it all and bought a Sony RX100 vii.
Clever little device - a 28-200 equivalent lens, focussing ability Fuji would die for, and a viewfinder (unusual in smaller cameras.
So far so good 👍
But - I hate it! 🤨
X-T4 arriving tomorrow, hopefully…

I don't like how easy it is to press in the rear control wheel - makes actually turning it without pressing it quite awkward.
When set to use the front wheel for ISO or exposure compensation you are also offered the option to change aperture - when your lens has an aperture ring! Hence rather than knowing if it's on one setting a press to change to the other doesn't work as you have to check it's not on the non operational 'F' setting. Quite easy for them to sort out in a firmware update - I hope!
Limited options for the Q and "My Menu" are a pity.
I have set the front function button to duplicate the AF-L button for focussing giving me the option to use either!
I use a function button for the turn preview off

Live in Cheshire in the UK. Been shooting for 65 years - though not with Fuji! Digitally speaking - Canon 10D, Canon 5D then added an XE-1. Decided to go Fuji completely so got rid of the XE-1 and the 5D and went rro an XT-1 with 18-55 and 55-200. Trying to decide whether to add some primes - especially the new 35mm. Hmm!
Shooting - general, models and travel (one reason for the lighter system)
Wish now of course that I had an XT-2.....................
