About Me
I am the wrong side of 60 ![]()
My first camera was a kodak 110 ;although I did ask to use my father's folding 120 once and was amazed at how expensive it was to have the film processed at a Chemist (pharmacy now?) I didn't understand why you had to take it to a place where you got cough mixture!
The Kodak attracted me purely because of the sliding, film wind on part.. Funny to look back at that.
My Next camera was an SLR.. Praktica MTL3 East German make. Loved learning about the exposure triangle.. all manual control. Even the f1.8 lens was nice. Could not afford a Pentax, let alone a Nikon ![]()
Eventaully after getting'some' money together.. Went through Nikon EM, Contax 139, Nikon F80, Minolta 7000... That last one got stolen from my home and it took the pleasure of photography away from me until I was gifted a used F3T HP,
Hooked again till I bought my first DSLr. Fuji S2 Pro on to D200, D300, D700, D7000, D610/D3200. Still have last two presently.
A couple of professional photographer friends moved from the Canon gear to Fuji. One with an X-T1 and the other an X-T10. I respect their opinion so looked into Fuji again and eventually bought the X-T10 with 16-50.
And that's where I am now... Plenty to learn about it. ![]()
