  1. Yep, my problem is exactly the same as yours chudlyfudly. I reinstaled the firmware and took my X-T1 with the same lens out shooting this weekend and there was no freezing. So I don't know if it was the firmware problem or what I just hope it stays this way.
  2. Thanks. So I called around and there is nobody that can repair my fuji in my country or somewhere near so I would have to send it to UK and then who knows how much they will charge it...I'm so freaking mad
  3. sorry for the newbie question, what is pwb? I have the same exact problem. Who knows how much the repair will cost :/
  4. Formated the card and did the reset already, unfortunately did not help. Oh I see know, so admins can merge the two topics then or lock this one,I see it is the same problem.
  5. I did not change lenses at all, 18-135 was on it the whole time. Also my screen did not go black, it was working normally. just the controls were unavailable....and I forgot to mention that it happened on two or three occasions, basically in the last month or so whenever I use my camera this happens. My warranty was only one year so it's expired and I have a trip coming in two weeks so I was hoping somebody knew the cause of freezing since it is my only camera and sending it to repair now is not an option
  6. Hi everybody, I encountered a problem with my X-T1 and I was hoping somebody could help me. The other day I was out shooting and all of the sudden the camera started freezing to the point that I had to get the battery out to get it up and running again. That happend at least ten times in one afternoon so it's not an isolated case, So in most cases the viewfinder behaves normaly, I can see the picture on it but all the controls on the camera are frozen, I can't press the shutter button, can't turn it off etc. I am using a 18-135mm lens and both the body and the lens have the latest firmware. Is there anybody else with this problem?
