We have our x70 set with high performance on, and the lag (especially when shooting using the touch screen, but also using the shutter button) is longer than on our x100t.

My partner has a new x70 with the wide convertor. We've updated the firmware to the version that supports that configuration. However she is finding that when the convertor setting in the menu is set to ON, in manual focus or autofocus modes the focus scale disappears from the screen. The camera is set to show the focus scale in the Display screen settings Can someone else with this configuration confirm that that is happening for them?

We have an x100t and an x70. On the x100t it takes less than a single rotation of the focus ring to move the focus indicator in the viewfinder from closest to furthest focus. On the x 70 it takes almost 2 rotations to move the indicator the same distance. Is that normal? I realise the x 70 isn't really the most efficient manual focus camera given the narrowness and grip-ability of the focus ring (it's primarily a auto-focus device), but the distance the ring needs to move to get from closest to furthest distance seems excessive.
