  1. Hi, I use the X-Rite passport since 2 years and I like it really, specially to correct the red colors of the Fuji and to choose between different skin tones. since I use the FW4, I have to "close" the lens EVERY time I make a manual whitebalance, because the camera says "overexposed" or I have to chose the exposure time by hand. Shutter in A-mode, ISO in A, 200 or 400 doesn't make it better. What the hell is that?
  2. Hello everybody, I have a problem with the time stamp on my X-T1 Firmware 4 On the camera is the time correct in preview mode. But the same pictures on the PC says the pictures are 6 hours old. What could I do to fix it? Regards, Artur
  3. Hello everybody, I still own a lot of old lenses, got from my dad, which I didn't wanted to sell. Last year, after I bought some adapters for common lenses I have (QBM, Canon) and I was impressed how well they still are. So I decided to build one adapter for Zeiss Icarex BM lenses, primary for the heavy Ultron 50/f1.8, which my dad used very often. So I bought an adapter for Minolta (because of the depth I needed), a broken Icarex (to took out the bajonet) and made my own adapter. The guys from the mechanical workshop at the job helped me a lot, thanks to those. Compared to the Carl Zeiss Planar HFT 50/f1.4 the ultron produces warmer pictures with the same sharpness. With the X-T1 and Provia the pictures looks a little bit like the Classic Chrome, but not too much. After that I bought another Icarex from the bay, a focal reducer from Mitakon and did the same. Now I have a set of 5 lenses (35/50/90/135/200) which I can use with the crop factor or without on the X-System. I own also a bellow, a distance ring and a 2x tele (not from Zeiss) for the Icarex system, which are not in the picture. My problem is: Last time I recognized, that I'm using this lenses not really often to keep them. And right now I need money :-( Hopefully I'll find somebody, who is interested in it, before I put in the bay.
  4. Hello everybody, I'm male, 40 years young, still kiddy and love the X-Series. My first Fuji was a pocket cameras (F30), which we still use with a water resistant bag for pool during the holidays. I started with the X-E2 and switched to X-T1 and a X-E1, which I'm going to sell next days. The X-T1 is makes really fun to use it, specially with manual old lenses. I have a lot of different adapters and tried lenses from different manufacturer, except Leica. Instead of Leica I prefer Zeiss and Voigtländer from different "centuries". The reason, why I made an accout here is: I'm going to reduce my "lens cabinet" by one set (picture) and hope to find somebody who is interested in it, before I sell it on eBay. Because it seems to be really rare (a friend told me that he's pretty sure that nobody did it before). Here we go: Last year I modifyied 1 adapter and 1 "Lens Turbo" for the Icarex BM system. The adapter and a focal reducer were Minolta to X-Series-adapters, which I machined to needed size. For the right connection to the lenses I disassembled two old Zeiss Icares 35 and took out the lens bajonet. Both adapters are working properly (they are not over- or underfocused at infinity). The only lens which produce this known "red dot" with the Mitakon is the 90mm, as I know. All lenses are in great condition. No scratches or fungus on the glas. And they were never open, as I know. The only thing is: the movement is a little be tighter, compared to new lenses. If somebody is interested in it, just write me. Best regards, Artur
