  1. I am a father of 15 week baby, and taking an enormous number of pictures every day. "From new born to toddler," I think you do not need good AF tracking (he is not moving much yet), long focal length (we stay close, right?), and very fast aperture. However, F2.0 is often needed for indoor photos. Faster than that for me personally has too shallow depth of field. In this sense, I think X100T is the best among fixed lens X's. You can probably start to think of other needs one year later. By the way, I am using X-E1 + 35mm F1.4 indoor and + 27mm F2.8 outdoor.
  2. Here is the series of the posts about the problem. By the way, they are all written in Korea. If the translator doesn't work for you, I can translate some of the necessary information you need. + I am not the author of the posts. 1. Problem found. Fujifilm Korea told the OP that fix is not free: http://www.slrclub.com/bbs/vx2.php?id=fuji_s1pro_forum&no=403762 2. Problem solved. The OP is very satisfied: http://www.slrclub.com/bbs/vx2.php?id=fuji_s1pro_forum&no=403805 a ) Free repair no matter how many times for this problem. b ) Refund for repeated problems.
  3. I am not suffering this problem on my X-E1, but I recently read an article in a Korean forum that Fujifilm has admitted the problem and decided to fix it in some way (I cannot remember it exactly because I am not using X-T1. Sorry for this). Since this decision is made in Fujifilm HQ, I think X-shooters in all over the world can get benefit from this.
