Your accessoes are just you personalising the camera to suit you. We all do similar - just differently according to our preferences.

That said, glad to hear you are enjoying your photography - and yes, the X-Trans and Aperture ring do force you to re-think how you do things a bit, unles you're an old git like me who enjoyed working with these things back in the day (1980's)

I'm a new X100T owner as well.  The folks from mass drop made me decide to go for it, but then when I found it was grey market, I canceled the order and just ordered it from B&H.  It's been lots of fun to use, and I know that I have lots to learn about it.  Did some street photography with it last night.

    Thanks!

Yep - a definite must do. As small as this camera may appear (in fact this applies to ALL Fuji X cameras) - it is really like the Tardis in Dr Who... It holds a lot more on the inside than it does on the outside, and it's never ending supply of gadgetry and software tricks will much the best of any of the DSLR bodies - except the sections on A/F (thought I'd add that caveat for the politicaly correct).

The X100 series camera are excellent for travelling, mainly because you will not be carrying around lenses and then thinking which one should I use. Back in the day I would take two Rollie 35 cameras one with B&W film the other with colour slide film, never had a problem.

I use the X-Pro, X-T1 and I also use the X100s. I would only take the X100s on a trip, no need even for a camera bag all you need is a spare battery a couple of 8gb SD cards and charger, you want to take pictures not needlessly carry a lot of gear, check out David Hobby on the strobist blog http://strobist.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/on-traveling-with-your-camera.html

The X100s is an excellent camera the black version is available from http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=fujifilm+finepix+x100s&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ps

Good luck and enjoy your trip
