  1. Thank you milandro, very helpful - will let you know how this ends. Jordan
  2. Guys, I have a Fuji 56mm 1.2 and a Fuji 35mm 1.4 (not in warranty anymore) whose aperture rings, after being perfectly fine for the better part of a year, suddenly don not function normally, in that they are getting more and more difficult to turn. They are tighter than before, but they are not uniformly tighter, if that makes sense - at some points its easier to turn them, at some points it is more difficult, almost impossible. We have a Fujifilm authorised repairer in Romania, where I'm from, but they don't do lenses - the repairer there told me that he thinks dust might have gotten under the aperture ring - unlikely, I have a number of Fuji lenses and it's never happened to me, and I've never taken them to, say, the beach, where sand could have gotten in - but they can't work on them, they have to send them to Germany and recommended I do it myself. Questions: 1. Anyone ever encountered this phenomenon? 2. Any ideas re a good repairer in Europe to whom I could send them for repairs and who could send them back to me? I'm looking for an authorised Fuji service, as a first preferance, but any good repairer would do. 3. Any other ideas? Thanks for your time, Jordan
