  1. Well I have seemed to found the solution. SetUp-Screen setup-EVF Brightness-Auto/Manual. It was set on auto. However, when I choose "manual" and tried to make an adjustment is said "check the finder." While this did not allow me make any adjustments the EVF was substantially brighter. Problem solved. I wish to thank all the help I gave to myself concerning this matter. 🙄 (Actually I just got lucky before someone pointed all this out.)
  2. I have just received a new to me xpro2. It is excellent cosmetic shape, however, using an older analog lens the EVF is quite dim compared to the OVF which is nicely lit. I mentioned the lens only for reference. Question: Is there a setting for brightening the EVF or is this a problem with the EVF?
  3. This is what I found on a firmware update that seems to address the problem. However, firmware version is at Ver. 211 already. As stated above this occurrence only happens using the EVF and at apertures between f2.0 and 3.6. It does not happen using the OVF or LCD. The firmware update Ver.2.11 from Ver.2.10 incorporates the following issue: The phenomenon is fixed that when pressing the shutter button halfway under certain conditions, the live view can flicker.
  4. Recently purchased a "F" with a low shutter count. When using a half press focus and continuing to the shot there is a slight flicker in the EVF and LCD. This does not happen with the OVF. Also, This does not happen at f2 thru f3.6. I begins at f4 and continues throughout the aperture range. So the question becomes is this a concern? This was not evident withy xpro2. Thank you in advance for any help on this matter.
