  1. Hi Everyone I have being contacted by technical support in Australia who have been fantastic. The new update to the Fujifilm X app end of September has apparently fixed the Bluetooth issue with Chinese Roms running Color OS , namely Oppo, OnePlus and Realme & equivalent . I have since sold my Oppo Find X8 Pro, so unable to see if the issue has been solved. Please reply to this to let me know if you are still having issues. Cheers Ian
  2. I'm not sure either. I tried everything possible to remove Bluetooth device. Fujifilm needs to realise an issue with certain Chinese rom phones and fix the issue
  3. Hi everybody I noticed today the 2nd of September 2025 that there was a Playstore update to Fujifilm X app. Since my Oppo is now gone, it would be interesting to see if there is any luck with Oppo/OnePlus/Realme or equivalent Chinese Roms. Do let me know. I don't think we can say that it's Chinese Rom's, Fujifilm X-App or the Firmware update/s to Fujifilm. Rather an incompatibility issue somewhere with all 3 parties. Check phone updates, & Playstore updates and of course camera firmware updates. Have spent hours and hours with processes of elimination and even reset my X100 VI, my Oppo so no need to reset phone or cameras. It's so annoying. We will get to the root of this.. Cheers
  4. Sorry to hear of no response. If you don't mind me asking what country are you in? Cheers Ian
  5. Yes it is most definitely a compatibility issue. The problem I was having was it was trying to connect through the Bluetooth process and when it sends you a code that matches on your phone and your camera, I would press the ok on the camera and the phone would say delete X100VI before you can repair it, so I deleted it out of Bluetooth. However, it does not delete it through the app and continues to present a problem. It connects through the Bluetooth setting on the phone (X100VI) but the correct process, pairing through the Fujifilm X app, will not pair. As explained there is no issue connecting to my iPad running IOS 18.6, Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, and ASUS ZenFone 11 Ultra. Cheers Ian
  6. Hi Maestro56 Many thanks for your reply. I do believe after careful analysis and a process of elimination, that the issue lies with Chinese Rom's. I would say that a firmware update with Oppo, OnePlus, Realme will very possibly iron this issue out, or a Fujifilm firmware update may also solve the problem. I have been in communication with Fujifilm Australia, and gone through everything with the representative who was most helpful. Cheers Ian
  7. Hi Maestro56 Many thanks for your feedback. I ended up selling my oppo find X8 Pro running Colour OS 15, and have since bought the latest Galaxy s25 Edge. I have no issues connecting it to Samsung with the latest 1.31 update on my X100VI. Also I have no issues connecting to my Galaxy S21+, iPad 10.9 running iOS 18+, and also no issues connecting to my Azus Zenfone 11 Ultra Gaming phone,Android 15. This proves that it is not an issue with Fujifilm but with Chinese phones running color OS or equivalent. Do let me know what operating system you are running? Cheers Ian
  8. I've got a problem with my X100VI. Even if I change the name of the Bluetooth and try to pair it still comes up with please delete X100VI on the smartphone and when I go to unpair it and start the pairing procedure gain it tells me to do the same thing again it never seems to get rid of the name X100V. This is only happening with my oppo phone and there doesn't seem to be a problem with my other Android device or my iPad. Have been on to FF Australia and ever since they did an update to the latest firmware I just can't pair. It's a real joke
  9. Regards X100VI firmware update 1.31.there are Bluetooth problem since the recent update. I have an Oppo Find X8 Pro which runs on colour OS, my version is 15.0.0.840 I paired my Fujifilm X100VI seamlessly on the old firmware and was amazed how firmware could be upgraded through Bluetooth/WiFi using an app as my Lumix, Sony, Nikon FF gear was the usual download update, ectract bin file. Copy to formatted card, fully charged battery and update through menu. Upgraded to a new firmware with ease some months ago when first getting X100VI. Had to reset phone without unpairing, another issue with Google pay. Unrelated. Reconnected camera to my Oppo, saw notification about firmware update in last 10 days. Upgraded to the latest through Bluetooth/WiFi direct.. Took a while but was successfully updated. Then I have to re-pair the phone, now it says to remove the previous device X100VI, so I follow procedure to forget the previous pairing. However it doesn't get rid of it and I ended up doing reset network settings on camera. Didn't work either. Then I did a factory reset of the entire camera which is a pain as you have to set up the whole thing again and I didn't really back up my settings. Anyway, this also didn't work so I ended up doing another factory reset of my Oppo phone. After setting that up, the problem is still there. Can't get rid of the original pairing. Huge disappointment, loads of time wasted to no avail. I'm in Australia so I've got on to Fujifilm Aus. The representative was fantastic and he walked me through all the trouble shooting steps. Exhausted all avenues and had to accept defeat. He did mention that a lot of people had contacted them and were having issues since this new firmware upgrade. So we can only hope that they might do another firmware patch to fix the problem or update Fujifilm X App. I am almost ready to sell this camera after these dramas. Considering maybe going back to Sony, Nikon, Lumix (2nd Gen). All pricey stuff. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Ian
