Recently purchased a X-T5 with the 16-80 mm lens + others. Noticed that the hood easily detached with the slightest bump. My Nikon 24 - 120 mm (equivalent to 16-80) lens hood locks into place easily so was dismayed and disappointed. Found this forum and thread to be helpful, turns out Choccy's comment on 104/20 was on target. Just turn the hood a little firmer and it locks in place. No need for alternate hood or jimmy-hatch solutions. Duh, new user experience will get you every time. David
