Had same issue with my XT4 and 33 f1.4 lens. It seems like linear motor is more of a downgrade from fuji than upgrade. Constantly causing reliability issues to customers, motors are driven magnetically which only gets magnetised when camera is turned on. myne was giving same error occasionally. Later at some point It fucked up my XT4 IBIS too which was quoted ₹47500 for repair and lens also broke completely which costed me ₹18200 for repair. Switching from Sony to Fujifilm I feel the build quality in fujifilm is much inferior and less reliable. been using XH2S now, build feels robust, but only the time will tell.
