Hi,
I'd like to shoot videos with my XS-10 without having to worry about time limits. I'll shoot at home, so no portability issues to take into account. Ideally, I'd be fine with 1 hour/1 hour and a half continuous 4k shooting. I know there are some restrictions to bypass:
- the internal 30 minutes limit
- battery duration
- overheating
- memory limit
I read it's possible to use an external capture card. I'd like to know:
- if there's a model specifically suited to Fuji X cameras,
- if I can use it just as a link, connecting it to a laptop and/or to an external hard disk to save videos. I see many people use external monitors. I'd like to know if there are capture cards without monitors that you just connect to your laptop.
- if you know models of dummy batteries/powerbanks that work great with Fuji X cameras and don't cause much overheating.
That said, I'd like to know if the setup should eventually look like this:
- the dummy battery in the battery slot of the XS-10 connected to a powerbank or directly to a domestic socket,
- a micro HDMI to HDMI adapter plugged into the micro HDMI port of the XS-10,
- the adapter connected to the capture card,
- the capture card connected to a laptop with OBS and access to sizeable external HDs
Thanks in advance.
