Sorry, should have clarified - it's on the Mechanical setting already, and have toggled all shutter options to see if it made a difference nothing changed unfortunately.

I recently bought the EF-X8 flash to put onto my X-T5 and when i go into the sync terminal and open up the flash it registers that the flash is attached showing the EF-X8 at the top of the screen, but below, it has the no flash sign with "Off" next to it. I can't figure out how to place the camera into a setting where I can utilize the flash correctly. I have tried using the scroller on the front and back side of the camera as at the bottom it indicates "adjust" but nothing happens when i do that. I've re-set the camera to factory defaults etc. to make sure it wasn't in any particular setting but it hasn't helped. Any help would be much appreciated!!
