I'm trying to learn the X-S10 and one thing I'm confused by is that I have to go to much higher ISO to get the same exposure as I would have with my film camera (Canon TL).
This is a film scan from my film camera. I forget the exact settings but it was ISO 400.
This is a shot from my X-S10 with ISO 400, f8, shutter 60. Quite dark.
Viewing the same area with my film camera's viewfinder with the same settings says it should be a good exposure.
So why is it so much darker with digital?
