How do you set the displays to show a realistic image?

I have an XS10, and aside from the too-flat buttons I have taken some lovely photos with it. However, I can't work out how to set the viewfinder such that what you see is how the image will look after the shutter is pressed. I wonder if anybody has any ideas?
