I'm contacting you because I'm having a problem with my Fujifilm xt-4 and especially my XF 18-55 1:2.8- R LM OIS lens. An error only appears when I use this lens (I've tried with another, I don't have any problems), it says: "lens control error". Despite several attempts, such as updating the firmware or rudimentary cleaning, the error continues. I've noticed, however, that the error only appears when I use my camera with the 18-55 vertically. Horizontally, the error message doesn't appear. Another thing I've noticed is that the noise of the lens motor when the camera is switched on is sometimes a bit special, as if the camera is having trouble calibrating the lens. I don't understand the problem, though, as the lens hasn't been dropped and the other lens I'm using (XC 50-230) works without a hitch.
Do you have any idea where the problem might be coming from?
