@Steve Kingswell did you ever figure out how to fix your issue? I have the 56mm 1.2 and have been trying to upgrade to firmware v1.01 and I keep getting that same "Firmware not found in card slot 1" message. I tried downloading the file to my comp and putting it onto a freshly formatted SD card via a card reader, downloading it straight onto the card, etc.. nothing seems to work. I just upgraded my 16-55 just fine, worked right away, but the 56mm I just don't get it. ¯\_(ツ)_/
