I believe that the electronic front curtain shutter setting will eliminate shutter shock, as will electronic shutter, but electronic shutter may introduce flicker artifacts if you are under artificial illumination, especially LEDs. Electronic front curtain will not have that consequence. Of course, a remote shutter release or using the timer at two seconds will eliminate the physical shock of pushing the shutter release button.

An update: I decided to give this another try. I toggled between the “airplane” and “home” icons in the +/- GMT and “daylight savings” offset, then I stepped through the different month/day/year format settings, and suddenly the “24 hr” versus the “am/pm” time formats became available and I was able to choose. It must be a bug in the firmware. Now all is good and I can sleep better.

I am totally baffled... I don't get the AM/PM option, only the 24H, and the cursor doesn't reach the 24H field. Not that it's a big deal... when I import, the time preferences in the editor shows up correctly... I am just stumped. Thanks Eli

In setting the time, after upgrading my GFX 100S to firmware 2.01, I cannot display time in 12 hour format (with "am" and "pm"), only in 24hr format. Am I missing something; is it possible to change it? Thanks, Eli
