[x-pro 2: What image quality settings do you use?]

I shoot raw, where most of these settings have no effect. That way I have more control over the image quality in post, and I start out with a higher quality file.

I shoot raw as well. Typically I have slot 1 shooting RAWs and slot 2 shooting jpgs. The settings will still effect in camera RAWs if you have it set on a film simulation. It strips it once you dump it into Lightroom.

Grain Effect: Weak (I typically change this as per film simulation)

Dynamic Range: 100

Highlight Tone: +1

Shadow Tone +1

Color: 0

Sharpness: 0

Noise Reduction: -4

 

What do you all use and why? I haven't quite found the sweet spot for all of my settings, so I would love input.

[Fujinon XF 35mm F1.4 R]

I absolutely love my 35mm. I own the 10-24 f/4 and the 56 f/1.2. The 35 is on my camera a solid 75% of the time. It is incredibly light and very capable. I haven't had an issue with sharpness at all. I agree with the 16 f1.4 poster above, but you can't beat the 35 for that price.
