Thank you very much for the clarification. I'm trying to develop a look (in small steps) to my photos that I find pleasing and wanted to be sure I was making adjustments in the direction I intended. Subtle changes are not always immediately observable.

OK, I have a complete noobie question (X100F). When I’m making changes to a custom film simulation attribute like SHADOW and I go in the plus (+) direction, am I lightening the shadows or am I increasing (deepening) shadows?

Hello – My name is Ross and I just purchased an X100F with a shutter count of only 1000. It hasn’t arrived in the mail yet, but should do so this week. I’ve owned a few Fuji pocket cameras and a couple Fuji bridge cameras (S8630 & S9000), but mostly I’ve shot with Nikon DSLR’s. I’ve become more interested in street photography and that’s what led me to the X100F. I’m really looking forward to getting out with the smaller bodied camera and getting to know it well. I'm also happy to have found this forum. Cheers.

I was cleaning the UV filter on my X100F and noticed a spot I though was on the inside of the filter glass. When I removed the filter, the spot stayed. When I lightly wiped the camera's lens, it became apparent that the spot was inside the lens. Has anyone else had dust or small spots appear inside their X100F lens?
