Even with my X-T1 and existing firmware I am able to track focus with the 50-140mm on fast moving cyclists coming directly at me. So to be honest, tracking someone on a relatively slow moving skateboard is not very impressive. In general, allthough the X-T1 is not reviewed as a sports-camera, I have very sharp pictures of my soccer-playing son. Nevertheless I am looking forward to the firmware upgrade!
