Samsam

Hi there. I’m trying to familiarize myself with this newfangled digital photography. is there a way to get the grid lines on and off with a single button press / top level menu? i added it to ‘My Menu’ , now they are always there. It seems I have to go into another menu to get them off. I usually would like to shoot without them but maybe bring them up quickly on occasion. i have watched several videos / read though multiple websites. Even looked at that white block of paper that came on the box. thank you all (in anticipation) sam
