Recently bought the X-T3 and just getting familiar with video.
My intention is to edit in 10 bit for the greater flexibility and export in standard 8 bit.
I can download, edit and export (Cyberlink Powerdirector) every conceivable option (FHD; 4K; bitrate; all intra) with the H264 codec.
H265....download and edit, no problem. Try to export it to any file type, and nothing. The export progress bar remains locked on zero. H265 is the only way I can access 10 bit.
Is anybody editing 10 bit H265 files and then managing to export them in an 8 bit format, H264 AVC?
If so, what software are you using, or how are you doing it?
I'm brand new to video so the solution may be staring me in the face....or not possible. I've read the problems people have with H265.
