@flamidey Thanks! What are your thoughts on using the Canon EF 800mm with a Fuji camera? Strange that there are no competitors to the Nikon ultra zooms (which are so Amazing for astronomy, actually). I was hoping there would be a Fuji-compatible DIY solution that beats the p1000/p900 in all areas (of performance/quality). -

I'm getting a Fujifilm for its overall quality, but I want the zoom functionality of a p950 / p1000. What lens(es) do you recommend with the xt4 to achieve p1000 abilities (at the very minimum). -
Which Fujifilm rig (camera + lens) would beat the Nikon P1000 at it's niche? It's the best camera to do stuff like moonshots that I know of currently, but I'd rather not buy a Nikon (and I'd like to do better if possible).
