Hi,
I have tried to use my X-T3 with both SmallHD Focus and Blackmagic Video Assist and I can´t get it to work properly. Two of the biggest problems are:
1. There seems to be no way of turning off both the lcd and evf while using the external monitor. And both of these make the allready short battery life worse. Closest I could get was using the "eye sensor only" mode (evf on when eye sensor is covered - lcd always off), BUT for some reason this is not an option in video mode?
2. Switching between "lcd only" and "evf only" changes the resolution sent to the external monitor. With lcd the resolution is really poor and using monitor zoom function it gets pixelated. With evf the resolution is good but the overlays are poorly placed and the display button doesn't toggle the overlays on/off. Also the evf is the worse for the battery life.
If anyone has any solutions please help. I´m out of ideas.
