I'm having a problem using the EF-42 with my xt-3. It is probably me, but if I set the speed to say 1/125 with the lens aperture set to auto there is no problem with the expos ure. However if I set the aperture to say f5.6 although I get correct exposure the viewfinder is to dark to see what I'm taking a photo of! Am I doing something wrong or is that the way it is. I realise it's dark because of the settings, but does the lens not open to view the scene and stop down pressing the shutter release?
