    XT2. Ef-x8. Flash worked fine before. Set to electronic shutter for silent shoot. Lost flash. Reset to mech shutter. Flash still does not work. Looked up and read posts. Set preview exp./wb in manual mode to off. Still no flash. Everything on Auto. Flash seated fine. When not attached, flash setting had slash through. When seated, your can set options. When flash popped up, slash comes back. Please help.
