  1. So, I was shocked to see an ad for a used XT-2 + 56mm f1.2 + 16mm f1.4 all in excellent condition for 2000$. I know it seems that it's too good to be true BUT in Kuwait Fujifilm is so unpopular that a lot of people don't even know WHAT IS FUJIFILM. I've contacted the guy, he sent me photos and receipts and he knows there's no aftermarket for fujifilm cameras in Kuwait and he is looking to switch to Canon. The problem is that I owm both of these lenses but looking for a backup body. Was thinking of the new XE-3 but I would love to know what everyone thinks of the xt-2 instead of the xe-3 as a backup. He would sell the body alone for 1000$ (warranty expired). And he doesn't know the shutter count but says that it is rarely used. Do you know anyway to check the shutter count? 3. Thank mate.. it was converted to black and white in lightroom and some minor editing in lightroom..I guess my phone camera is too warm or something as the prints doesn't have that sepia tone. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  4. So I had the chance to shoot a photobooth at a comic convention that happened here in Kuwait few days ago and it was a valuable experience shooting it with the XT-2 with the kit lens. The shoot went smoothly as I took over 300 photos (supposed to be 1500 according to the organizers[emoji28]) and haven't felt the weight of the camera or had any issues whatsoever. The camera was tethered to a MacBook pro with lightroom cc and had 2 canon speedlights with softboxes triggered via pocket wizards. So what I have learnt is: 1. Always try out your set-up at home, record the time you need to set-up and try different lighting effects beforehand. 2. Make the photo as quick as possible and count to 3 to minimize blinking eyes photos. 3. Have a small chat with the subject as he/she will feel more comfortable with you and might give you some of their time later on to do some personal work (photos of that below). I know that these are simple and basic rules but I just felt I needed to remind myself and share the experience with you guys. So after the shoot I made some headshots of the celebrities that attended and I was very happy that they loved the photos. It took me between 30 seconds and 2 minutes to make these photos so excuse my choice of camera settings. All photos : 1/250 sec. ISO 800 f/5.6. One flash in a 2ft softbox approx. 45 deg. 5. Dear fuji shooters, I'm new here and would love if you could help me manage my first job with the AMAZING camera that I grew to love. I bought the camera recently and got a job offer shortafter so I'm extremely nervous. I will be shooting an event photobooth that requires a fast printing of almost 500 photos in a couples of hours. I bought a tethering cable for the XT-2 and I intend to connected to a laptop which will be connected to a printer. Each photo will take 20 seconds to shoot and I need them to be printed automatically as it's a requirement to deliver the photos to the clients on the spot. My questions: 1. Do you think the xt-2 will run hot? 2. Any suggestions on software to print automatically? 3. Any suggestion on settings (presets in camera) to get the best saturation, sharpness, etc.. so I will save time not to edit on laptop? Any other suggestions are highly appreciated![emoji4] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
