The UV filter is a brilliant idea! I would of never thought of that. Ive kept my X70 with its cap on when not shooting and in my camera bag. My XT-1 has been everywhere beach, forest, desert, city, with many lens changes and never once I had to clean the sensor or the inner parts of the lenses due to dust or foreign objects. I'm very OCD about being very careful when changing lenses, some times I hike back to my car to swap lenses and go hike back to take the shot. I know its OK to change lenses in the field but An OCD is powerful thing... So I'm very disappointed with my X-70's newly acquired spots disorder.

Unfortunately the exterior of the lens is clear, it only shows up in the pictures, not even in live view. Yea I can clean them up in Lightroom CC but still shelling out 600+ dollars for a Fujifilm camera only to find out too late that I got a defective
one is a bitter pill to swallow...I hope when I get my X100F It's a good one.

I don't really use my X70 often I have an XT-1 as my main camera. I keep my X70 in my camera bag with the cap always on except when shooting.
And I noticed these spots on my pictures when the aperture is above 5.6 they are on the left side and on the bottom right....
I keep my cameras clean and have avoided any dusty environments.. has any one else had these issues with an X70? the warranty has expired and I just placed an order for a X100F.
these spots make me nervous about the X100F
any thoughts?
