after doing some research it seems like the grinding noise i get when focusing manually is the norm. it's unfortunate because i purchased the XT-2 to shoot mostly video (4K) and the Rode VideoPro mic picks up the noise, making the footage unusable.

thanks for the respond Mike G. but the kit lens, 18-55 doesn't do that when i focus manually. is it only with the prime lenses?

hello - i have an XT-2 and when i use the 16mm f/1.4 in manual focus mode. i switch the dial on the camera to M and when i rotate the focus ring, there's a slight resistance where it feels/sounds like the auto focus motor(?) is being turned. can anyone who's got this lens see if it does the same thing? thanks.

hello, wanted to see if anyone is having the same problem. the display on the LCD on my XT-2 starts getting choppy after about 30 secs. so for example, if i am pointing at something that is moving, the movement seems stuttery. but it goes away if i press any button on the camera. i am using the fuji 16mm lens with the latest firmware for that lens. thanks. T
