  1. I recently purchased a used xt2. I have downloaded a John Greengro tutorial - excellent. However the tutorial refers to a camera with early firmware, with a supplement to 2.2. My camera has firmware 4.2. Have there been any significant changes?
  2. As a supplement to this post. I have found that the camera records movies succesfully, but not single exposures.
  3. My x-t10 is not recording images. It appears to be oprating normally on auto and manual when the button is pressed. Focussing is normal.. The histogram etc is responding normally. Pressing the button appears to be recording an image, but going to the view image - just black. The numbering advances normally with each attempted exposure. The same result if I insert card into PC to look at images. THe battery is fully charged. I have tried changing battery, card and lens - same result. Any advice appreciated.
  4. I have a Fuji x-t10 and a 55-200 lens. I hoped to add 2x tele converter, but found that the fuji converter is not compatible with this lens. Is there a third party that makes a 2x converter for the x-t10 that is compatible with this lens? The Fuji lenses compatible with the Fuji converter aare unfortunately out of my financial league!! Richard
  5. I an slowly getting to grips with using a x-t10, generally with success. Had problems with RAW to Photoshop CS5, but solved by using ADOBE DNG converter and then loading into PS. However, when I take B&W pictures using the Film Simulation option, although they are B&W when viewed in the camera, after DNG conversion, they appear as normal colour pictures once loaded into PS What am I doing wrong?
  6. I am a new X vt!) user. I have tried taking images in RAW. On the back of the camera they look OK. Once loaded to ther computer in Picasa that have a green cast, and there was no oprtion to open in Photoshop CS5. I loaded the Fuji Raw converter, went to Photoshop , found and selected image, but message said that the RAW converter not recognisewd. What next?
  7. I have been shooting B&W both with a 35 mm Pentax and a Mamiya 645 and have enjoyed the darkroom work, partly because I understand chemistry but am pretty poor with computers. However recently, particularly having explored my X-10, Iam being forced to admit that the digital results, to equal those of film. The only possible exceptions to this wold be the actual feel of fibre based darkroom prints cf. digital prints, and the results obtainable in wet chemistry with lith printing. However, whether it is worthwhile keeping a room in a normal home as a darkroom simply for this is debatable! Richard
