Now is the best time to buy the XT-1. B&H is selling it for short money and throwing in the vertical grip free. Unless you're on an ego trip and must have the latest, greatest, it is crazy to buy what looks like the same machine with a different model number. By the way the XT-2 should come in at about USD 1,800.
