My question: Did the focus improve in low light? My X-T1 struggles (takes long or fails to acquire focus) in low light situations compared to a DSLR and I'd like to know if we can expect a step forward in this regard. Thanks!
I've just read this in the FW 4.0 description:
1) Improved Shutter Speed Dial operation When the Shutter Speed Dial is set to T and the Shutter Type to Mechanical + Electronic, you can use the command dial to set a full range of exposure times from 30-1/32000sec.
Now, isn't this great? I think it's fantastic that we now have a choice to control the shutter speed with the top plate dial (retro style) or with the command dial (DSLR style) Now for the complete happiness all we need is an ability to control aperture with the other command dial on lenses that don't have a fixed-stop aperture ring. I'm talking about 18-55 F2.8-4, 10-24 F4 etc. Aperture ring on these lenses doesn't have any markings or hard stops, so why not duplicate it's functionality with a command dial for a full DSLR-like control? Can we bring the message to Fuji to include command dial aperture control to the next FW update?
