Shulvy got a reaction from Harpo in Transitioning from Canon
From a guy with an X-T1 & an X100T I don't think that you can go wrong just jumping in with buying a used X-T1 and starting your lens collection, then when the X-T2 eventually comes along, pick that one up and make the X-T1 your backup body.

Very basic explanation.
When you shoot in RAW-only a low-res JPG actually gets created too for faster previewing.
This gets embedded into the RAW file. The low res jpeg is 1920x1080pixels in resolution.
You'll see this when you try to zoom to 100% to preview your image on the camera. You won't actually be able to view 1:1.
If you set your camera to shoot JPG+RAW you'll be able to zoom 1:1. and you won't get the misleading dimension read out.
Try it shooting in RAW only and then RAW+FINE. You'll notice the files are definitely both 16MP

Shulvy got a reaction from Patrick FR in Experimenting!
Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as a wedding photographer from New York State!
This past weekend I went along with a friend and volunteered to shoot alongside them for free in order to shoot the whole day with just my X100T & X-T1 with 56mm f/1.2 lens!
It would be wonderful if you'd be willing to take a look and offer some feedback!
